Julian Lewis schedules Georgia official visit, says program's 'expectation is championships'
Carrollton (Georgia) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis is rated the nation's No. 1 overall prospect and has been committed to the USC Trojans since last summer.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound signal-caller was originally the nation's top prospect in 2026, but reclassified into 2025 and maintained the top spot, according to Rivals and ESPN.
So, it should probably come as no surprise that the nation's top college football programs have continued to try to recruit Lewis despite his pledge.
And it sounds as though he may be listening.
Lewis has scheduled an official visit to Georgia for May 31, a return trip, and listed some of the standout aspects of the Bulldogs' program.
"Great coaching, great teammates and the expectation is championships," he said.
Lewis has been stellar over the past two seasons, throwing for a combined 7,212 yards and 96 touchdowns with 14 interceptions (48 touchdowns, 2 INTs last fall).
Given that such an elite quarterback is sitting directly in Georgia's backyard, it only makes sense the perennial national championship contender is working to keep the five-star signal-caller close to home.
Kirby Smart and his staff will get a chance to officially host Lewis, and show off their campus again, in late May.
