Julian Lewis, nation's No. 1 high school quarterback, reclassifies to 2025

Carrollton (Georgia) five-star high school football prospect committed to USC in August

The No. 1 prospect in the class of 2026 is reclassifying. Carrollton (Georgia) five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, a USC commit, has moved up to the class of 2025, On3's Hayes Fawcett reported Tuesday morning.

Lewis, who has nabbed headlines as a rising star since he was in middle school, was the No. 1 player and QB in the class of 2026.

Lewis committed to USC back in August, but confirmed with SBLive Sports' Andrew Nemec in early November a visit with Georgia, hinting the QB prospect may still be looking around.

He is now the No. 14 overall prospect and No. 4 quarterback prospect in the country according to 247 Sports, and No. 22 overall and No. 4 QB according to On3.

Lewis committed to USC after a stellar freshman season, which he followed up with a strong encore as a sophomore. He threw for more than 3,000 yards and 48 TDs with only two picks and led Carrollton to the Georgia Class 7A state quarterfinals.
