Top 25 Northern California Coast high school football rankings (10/31/2023)

The final week of the regular season features seven ranked teams trying to finishing unbeaten and eight ranked teams battling it out for league championships

One week is left for teams in the Northern California Coast and it should be a doozy.

Four games between two ranked teams to decide league championships highlight Week 10 of the regular high school football season.

The NorCal Coast region consists of all teams from these four CIF sections: Central Coast, North Coast, San Francisco and Oakland.

Look for North Coast and Central Section playoff brackets here Sunday.

The four games of note are:

  • No. 6 San Marin (9-0) at No. 5 Marin Catholic (9-0), 2 p.m. Saturday — To decide the Marin County Athletic League.
  • No. 13 St. Ignatius (6-3) at No. 1 Serra (9-0), 7 p.m. Friday — With a win, Serra would win the West Catholic Athletic League title outright. A St. Ignatius and No. 12 Saint Francis win over Bellarmine would make the Serra and Saint Francis co-champions.
  • No. 15 Windsor (7-1-1) at No. 10 Cardinal Newman (9-0), 7 p.m. Friday — The winner is outright North Bay Oak champions.
  • No. 25 Antioch (7-2) at No. 4 Pittsburg (9-0), 1:30 p.m. Saturday — Antioch can create a tie for the Bay Valley Athletic League crown, but the host Pirates will assure an outright title with the win.

Bubble squad Salesian-Richmond (8-1, 4-0) can win the outright title of the Tri-County Rock with a home win over No. 7 El Cerrito (7-1). Saturday kickoff is 1 p.m.

A total of seven ranked teams are hoping to finish off regular seasons undefeated. Besides the ones mentioned above, No. 18 Menlo School-Atherton and No. 20 Christopher-Gilroy are 9-0 heading into Friday action.
