Benjamin is pitted against Oglesby in the Texas high school football 6-man state championships on Wednesday in UIL Class 1A Division II.

Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. (Central time). It's the second of 12 UIL state championships this week at AT&T Stadium from Wednesday to Saturday, three games per day.

All games are being televised regionally by Bally Sports Southwest.

Grayson Rigdon (No. 1) led Benjamin to a 34-point first half lead over Oglesby in the 1A Division II state championship game on Wednesday at AT&T Stadium. in Arlington.

Grayson Rigdon scored 10 touchdowns and added an interception to lead Benjamin to an 82-34 Texas high school 6-man football state championship win over Oglesby on Wednesday at AT&T Stadium.

Rigdon, now a three-time UIL 1A Division II state title MVP, rushed for 263 yards and six touchdowns and caught two more, including a bobbled pass that he recovered and hauled in for TD as the first half clock expired. He also finished 7-for-7 passing and threw three touchdown passes. Scroll down for a recap of the second UIL state title:

THIRD QUARTER

-- Rigdon is now 7-for-7 passing for 116 yards and three touchdowns to go with. his 263 yards on the ground. He has been a part of 11 touchdowns — six rushing, one receiving and three with his arm.

-- Benjamin again, and guess who? Rigdon hits freshman Keegan Hayes for a 24-yard TD. (82-34, Benjamin | 5:52)

FIRST HALF RECAP

Rigdon rushed for six touchdowns, threw for another and added an eighth — a 60-yard scoring reception — in the final moment of the first to help Benjamin get out to a 68-34 halftime lead. 

He took 13 carries for 257 rushing yards and touchdowns of 7, 22, 15, 4, 8 and 36 yards —the last TD came with 36 seconds left in the first half. Both of his pass attempts were completed, including a 36-yard touchdown pass to Tallon Hayes.

There were two more touchdowns inside the final 36 seconds. Kyler Fossett scored a two-yard run with two seconds left and Hayes hit RIgdon for a 60-yard touchdown reception with two seconds left. S

Fosett had 4 of his team's five TDs in the first half for the Tigers. He took 24 carries for 225 rushing yards.
