How did the 25 best high school football teams in Texas fare in final week of regular season?

The Texas high school football regular season wraps up Saturday as bi-district matchups and playoff brackets get set into place.

As of Saturday, every team ranked in the latest SBLive Texas Power 25 has played its Week 11 game.

The only two top 25 losses came when No. 9 Melissa dropped a district title showdown at home to No. 21 Lovejoy in a battle among neighboring top 10 Class 5A powers.

Then No. 8 Atascocita dropped its regular season finale to district foe Summer Creek, the week after losing to North Shore. 

Here is a look at how the top 25 fared in Week 11 (Nov. 2-4):

1. DeSoto Eagles (9-0, 7-0)

Bye week to rest up for the TX-4A bi-districts. The Bulldogs started slow last week, but rolled to another big win against district rival to extend its win streak to 26 games. Carthage has its eyes on back-to-back state championships, which would be its 10th in program history. Carthage will have the top seed in the bi-district round.
