Opening-round bi-district action in each of the select and non-select brackets in Louisiana high school girls basketball took place last week.

Several of the higher seeded squads were not involved, as those teams drew byes. But those teams will be in action as the second round of the LHSAA playoffs - also known as the regionals - get under way on Monday.
