Here are the nominees: 

Dom Patruno, Baseball, Englewood: The pitcher went 3-for-3, with a grand slam and five runs batted in for Englewood in a 17-0 win over Westside. 

Dylan Ziels, Baseball, Marathon: The Palm Beach State commitment pitched four perfect no-hit innings, striking out 12 batters in a 15-0 win over Miami Country Day. 

AJ Bertsch, Baseball, Western: The Western Wildcats received a big lift for Bertsch, who delivered a walk-off grand slam in a 7-3 win over Pembroke Pines Charter.

Brandon Bass Jr., Boys Basketball, Windermere Prep: Bass Jr. was a workhorse in the team's 67-60 victory over Holy Trinity Episcopal last week. The sophomore shooting guard scored 36 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. 

Jeremy Elyzee, Boys Basketball, Pembroke Pines Charter: The forward was getting it done in the scoring department and grabbing rebounds in a 64-57 win over St. Thomas Aquinas. Elyzee scored 28 points and snatched 12 rebounds. 

Tavian Cook, Boys Basketball, Gateway: Cook led the way in extra time as he scored a team-high 23 points to lead Gateway to a double-overtime victory in the regional semifinals. 

Tyler Johnson, Boys Basketball, Oak Ridge: The 6-foot-5 senior sensation, a Virginia Tech signee, erupted for 19 points, nine rebounds and two blocked shots to lead the Pioneers past Olympia in the Class 7A, Region 2 final.

Kaitlyn Gilmore, Softball, Bishop Kenny: It was a milestone week for the senior pitcher as Gilmore surpassed 500 strikeouts for her high school career last week. 

Elle Hildreth, Softball, Inspiration Academy: The junior hurler was on the money in the Lions’ 6-5 win over Berkeley Prep last week. She went seven innings, struck out eight and hit a 2-run homer in the victory. 

Angelina Graskoski, Softball, All Saints’ Academy: In a football score-like 35-17 victory against Oasis Christian, the seventh grader had herself a night. Graskoski scored five runs and drove in four off two hits. 

Gianna Frino, Softball, Barron Collier: The junior outfielder belted two home runs and drove in four runs as she helped lift the Cougars to a 16-12 win over Bonita Springs. 

Jesslymar Santa, Girls Basketball, Port Charlotte: For the first time ever, Port Charlotte is heading to states. Santa delivered 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals as the Pirates beat Lely to win a regional title. 

Jasmynee Gibson, Girls Basketball, Colonial: The 6-foot senior went off for 15 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double and added two steals to lift the Grenadiers past Lake Mary, 60-23, and into the Class 7A state semifinals. 

Isabella Tassanelli, Girls Flag Football, Pompano Beach: The senior quarterback was dynamite to kickoff the season, completing 13-of-19 passes for 161 yards and four touchdowns. She also has three interceptions through two games. 

Nyarai Wilson, Girls Flag Football, Countryside: Doing a little bit of everything in the Cougars' 6-0 overtime win over East Lake, Wilson notched five sacks, 11 flag pulls on defense. On offense, she scored the game winning touchdown and hauled in nine passes for 51 yards. 

Kenijah Clayton, Girls Flag Football, Godby: The dynamo did a little bit of everything against Madison County last week. Clayton threw and caught a touchdown, returned an interception for a score, had two picks, 10 flag pulls and batted away five passes.
