It is high school baseball season in Georgia and each week we will be highlighting top performance and asking you to help us select our Georgia High School Baseball Hitter of the Week. Below are our nominations for the week of February 26-March 3 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Sunday, March 10th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll.

Editor’s note: Our corresponding poll is intended to be fun, and we do not set limits on how many times a fan can vote during the competition. This poll is specifically for fans to vote on the players that have been nominated and in no way discredits any other player that may not be mentioned in our poll.

Ethan Spector, River Ridge

Spector went 4-for 4 with a double and two RBIs in the win over Rome.

Bayler Duncan, South Forsyth

Duncan went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBIs.

Tanner Morneau, Pope

In the two-game series versus Sprayberry, Morneau went 6-7 with a triple and four RBIs.

Bailey Thorne, Calvary Christian

Thorne went 8-for-15 with four homers, two doubles, and nine RBIs last week. He also got the win on the mound versus Lakeside, as he went four shutout innings with seven strikeouts.

Brady McHugh, First Presbyterian Day

McHugh went 4-for-4 with three runs, and two RBIs while hitting cleanup in a win over Heritage.

Jeremiah Whitehead, The King’s Academy

Whitehead went 3-for-3 with a double, three runs, and four RBIs in the win over Johnson Ferry.

Will Goff, Prince Avenue Christian

Goff hit leadoff for the Wolverines and went 3-for-3 with a double, a homer, and two RBIs.

Jakobi Bowens, Greater Atlanta Christian

Bowens went 2-for 4 with two bombs and drove in three RBIs.
