We're officially in the playoffs of the Florida high school football season and we begin to really ramp up our coverage around the Sunshine State as the postseason is upon us.
Official practices started way back on July 31 and preseason classics/jamborees on Aug. 17 and we thought it was time to introduce a new weekly podcast talking about it: The Coastal.
Episode 24, our own SBLive Florida’s Andy Villamarzo is joined by three coaches that have teams playing in the third round (region finals) of the playoffs.
Among the head coaches includes Sarasota Riverview head coach Josh Smithers, Cocoa offensive coordinator Adam Franco and Bartram Trail head coach Cory Johns. All three talk about their respective playoff matchups.
