We're officially in the playoffs of the Florida high school football season and we begin to really ramp up our coverage around the Sunshine State as the postseason is upon us.
Official practices started way back on July 31 and preseason classics/jamborees on Aug. 17 and we thought it was time to introduce a new weekly podcast talking about it: The Coastal.
Episode 23, our own SBLive Florida’s Andy Villamarzo is joined by five head coaches that have teams playing in the second round of the playoffs.
Among the head coaches includes Port Charlotte's Jordan Ingman, South Sumter's Ty Lawrence and Zephyrhills' Nick Carroll. All three talk about their respective playoff matchups.
