1. COLUMBIA RIVER

As long as coach Filly Afenegus is at the helm, it’s a safe bet that Rapids will reload with ease and be around on final day in Shoreline.

2. WEST VALLEY OF SPOKANE

After lone 2022 loss to Columbia River, Eagles - led by goalkeeper Aubrey Lobdell, could be lifting bigger hardware this November.

3. TUMWATER

Program’s best finish (third place) in 2022 is only the launching point for Thunderbirds' side primed to lift a title within the next two years.

4. SEHOME

Reigning runners-up have enough talent to make another deep postseason run, even if it means retooling at some positions.

5. EAST VALLEY OF YAKIMA

CWAC’s offensive (Shannah Mellick) and defensive (Mackenzie Isaak) MVPs return, as well as league’s leading scorer Ariana Lopez.

6. RIDGEFIELD

Any team that can survive and advance from loaded District 4 has a shot at a long stay in WIAA playoffs - and Spudders set up to do so.

7. SELAH

Four seniors graduated from Vikings' side seeking its fifth consecutive state tournament bid, but they still have enough.

8. HOCKINSON

Senior Abby Dombrow leads Hawks team that has become WIAA tournament mainstay under coach George Moya.

9. R.A. LONG

Revitalized Lumberjills have no easy nights in 2A GSHL, but returning offensive MVP Kathryn Chapin poses many problems herself.

10. LYNDEN

While they may lack the depth of past seasons, Lions roster enough sufficient high-end talent to compete any given night.
