Ashton Bethel-Roman signs with Texas A&M; Aggies land 2 Texas high school football prospects on National Signing Day

Ridge Point (Texas) 4-star wide receiver decommitted from Arkansas in December

Ridge Point (Texas) four-star wide receiver Ashton Bethel-Roman entered National Signing Day on Wednesday as one of the country's top uncommitted prospects.

Bethel-Roman, who decommitted from Arkansas in December, became Texas A&M's second blue chip prospect to sign on Wednesday after Timpson five-star athlete Terry Bussey made it official with the Aggies in the morning

Bethel-Roman signed with the Razorbacks in the early signing period. He recommitted after receivers coach Kenny Guiton left Arkansas for Wisconsin, and Arkansas granted his release last week.  

The 6-foot, 170-pound Bethel-Roman Is the nation's No. 27 rated wide receiver and the No. 24 overall prospect in Texas in the class of 2024. 

As a senior, he hauled in 49 catches for 964 yards and nine touchdowns for Ridge Point, which went 9-3, won a 6A District 20 Region 3 title and reached the 6A Division I playoff area round.
