The Texas high school football state semifinals wraps up Saturday as the remaining teams across the Lone Star State battled for a trip to Arlington for the UIL state championships next week.

North Shore defeated Westlake and Duncanville blew out North Crowley to advance in 6A Division I and DeSoto held off Southlake Carroll and Summer Creek beat Steele in 6A Division II on Saturday.
More championship berths were earned as Smithson Valley trounced Brownsville Veterans, Aledo beat Forney, South Oak Cliff toppled Frisco Emerson and Bellville held off a furious comeback from Cody Stoever and Wimberley on Friday night.
The action kicked off on Thursday as 5-star Terry Bussey and Timpson toppled Ganado and Tolar beat Straford in 2A Division I, Malakoff edged out Brock and Franklin beat Edna to reach the 3A Division I title and Daingerfield beat Tidehaven in 3A Division II.
