On Friday, he accounted for nearly half of the Broncos' overall offensive production on a wildly productive night, in which it gained 446 yards from scrimmage.

Hudson is the nation's No. 9 overall prospect, No. 2 receiver and the No. 2 prospect in Texas in the Class of 2024, according to the 247 Sports Composite

As a junior, he was named the District 4-5A D-I MVP. He finished the season with 65 catches for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns.

His commitment Monday night made waves far beyond Lubbock, even drawing a shoutout from Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

In early September, Hudson made electric plays in an ESPN-televised showdown against Red Oak, where Lake Belton lost in an overtime thriller

The win on Friday pushed the Broncos to 3-1 on the season.
