Each week throughout the season, SBLive is taking a look at the top high school football performers across the Lone Star State. We gathered the best of the best, separated offense from defense and now it's your turn to cast your vote on a winner.

TEXAS OFFENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL NOMINEES
DJ Bailey, DeSoto, quarterback, sr.
Went 9 for 16 for 256 yards and four touchdowns in 54-14 win over South Oak Cliff.
Josh Bell, Euless Trinity, running back
Turned 30 carries into 357 yards and five touchdowns in a 59-49 win over Flower Mound Marcus.
Larry Benton III, Houston St. Thomas, wide receiver
Reeled in eight catches for 221 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
Collin Blackstock, Frisco Lone Star, quarterback
Threw a game-winning 42-yarder to Winston Pollard on the final play to lift the Rangers to a 35-32 win against crosstown rival Frisco Reedy. Passed for 224 yards and two touchdowns on the night.
Daniel Bray, Abilene Cooper, running back
Rushed for 372 yards on 21 carries with seven TDs
Adam Buffington, Friendswood, wide receiver
Turned seven catches into 198 yards and three touchdowns in a blowout of Kempner.
Luke Carney, Dallas Christian, quarterback
Completed 25 for 30 passes for 430 yards and three touchdowns in 37-6 win over Tolar.
Blake Carr, Clyde, quarterback
Completed 11-of-19 passes for 190 yards and two TDs; also rushed for 305 yards on 22 carries with five TDs
Cardea Collier, Alvarado, quarterback
Threw five touchdown passes in a lopsided win over Dallas Lincoln.
Deonte Dean, Lake Highlands, running back, sr.
Took 31 attempts for 376 yards and four touchdowns in Lake Highlands’ first win over Highland Park since 1989. The game was postponed and finished the next afternoon due to weather and Dean added a 45-yard touchdown run with just over five minutes to play.
Ashten Emory, Rockwall, running back
Took 30 carries for 203 yards and a touchdown in a 47-41 win over Prosper. Emory finished with more than 270 all-purpose yards.
DeAnthony Flagge, Conrad, wide receiver
Took six catches for 175 yards and three receiving touchdowns in 52-8 win over Rice.
Brandon Hall, Texarkana Texas High, receiver
In a win over Benton, La., Hall had five catches for 115 yards and three scores.
Julius Hawkins, Spring Hill, running back
Hawkins carried 20 times for 207 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers’ win over Gladewater.
Hayden Hilliard, Tioga, quarterback
Was 17-of-28 passing for 266 yards and three TDs and also had a rushing TD in the Bulldogs’ 66-20 win against Valley View.
Grayson Hearon, Troup, quarterback
Hearon completed 16 of 22 passes for 210 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-0 win over Buffalo.
Hudson Hutcheson, Wolfforth Frenship, quarterback
Completed 25-of-38 passes for 563 yards and five touchdowns
Marcus Johnson, McKinney Boyd, quarterback
How’s this for a first career start? Finished 14-for-18 for 177 yards and three touchdowns , and 15 rush attempts for 101 yards and 3 additional touchdowns in a 34-28 win over Plano West.
Trevor Long, Corpus Christi Miller, quarterback
Was 19-of-27 passing for 380 yards and seven touchdowns.
Harrison Mass, Cypress Springs, quarterback
Completed 11-of-16 passes for 278 yards and six TDs and also rushed for 128 yards on seven carries
Jaxon Moffatt, Van, quarterback
Moffatt racked up more than 275 total yards and three touchdowns in a 42-37 win over Lindale.
Jameer Muhammad, Fort Worth Carter Riverside, running back
222 yards, 11 carries, three TDs
Charlie Peters, Dallas Jesuit, quarterback
Went 24-for-37 for 324 yards, three total touchdowns and an interception in a 41-39 win over Richardson Pearce.
Jamal Polley, Edinburg Vela, running back
Rushed for 321 yards on 21 carries with six TDs
Jett Surratt, Carthage, quarterback
Surratt completed 19 of 26 passes for 231 yards and four touchdowns in a 34-0 win over San Antonio Cornerstone in a game called midway through the third quarter due to inclement weather.
Cadon Tennison, Gilmer, quarterback
Tennison completed 20 of 30 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 33 yards in a 43-40 win over Paris.
Caleb Williams, Crowley, quarterback
9 for 20 for 202 yards and 3 touchdowns, 9 rushes for 55 yards and 2 touchdowns in 43-14 win over Mansfield Summit.
Kedren Young, Lufkin, running back
Young carried 32 times for 235 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers’ 24-17 win over A&M Consolidated.
