We have 10 athletes nominated this week for SBLive’s Upper State South Carolina Offensive Football Player of the Week from Sept. 28-29 and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, Oct. 7 at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Here are this week's nominations:

Kalvin Banks, Eastside

Banks ran 26 times for 222 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 35-12 win over Emerald. His longest touchdown run was 73 yards.

LaDainnian Martin, Greer

Martin ran for 240 yards and 3 touchdowns - 39, 30 and 4 yards - on just 13 carries in Greer’s 49-7 victory over Laurens.

Kolton Chapman, Daniel

Chapman was 17-of-24 for 266 yards and 4 touchdowns in Daniel’s 52-10 romp over Walhalla. He also had a 3-yard touchdown run.

Kory Jones, Pendleton

Jones caught 6 passes for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 61-0 rout of West-Oak.

Jayden Burris, Northwestern

The senior wide receiver was a big-play machine, catching 5 passes for 184 yards, including a 76-yard touchdown in the Trojans’ 59-6 win over Lancaster.

DeShaun Washington, Brookland-Cayce

Washington ran for 188 yards and 4 touchdowns in the Bearcats’ 56-13 romp over Orangeburg-Wilkinson.

Matthew Wilson, Rock Hill

The Appalachian State commit threw three touchdown passes and added two rushing touchdowns in a 44-7 win over Spring Valley.

Kade Baxley, North Central

The sophomore quarterback threw for 200 yards and 5 touchdowns with 1 interception in the Knights’ 52-28 win over Chesterfield.

Jay Stoker, Easley

Stoker was 11-of-15 for 266 yards and 4 touchdowns as the Green Wave overwhelmed Pickens 63-12.

Marquise Henderson, Belton-Honea Path

The junior standout ran 26 times for 171 yards and 4 touchdowns in a 56-28 win over Powdersville. Henderson, who has 14 college offers, now has 1,246 yards and 19 touchdowns for the season.
