Michael Fasusi has high praise for Texas A&M visit; 5-star offensive tackle previews Missouri, Oregon trips

Lewisville (Texas) five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi recently visited Texas A&M

Lewisville (Texas) five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi is one of the top prospects in the country for the class of 2025.

This month, the 6-foot-4 1/2, 300-pound lineman visited Texas A&M and will take visits to both Missouri and Oregon.

For Fasusi, the Texas A&M trip set a high bar.

“It was amazing," he said. "The coaching staff really exceeded my expectations.”

During the trip, Fasusi said he completely bought in to the message from new coach Mike Elko.

“He’s really going to turn the program around and I’m down for that," Fasusi said. "I believe what he said about the program. (The defensive line coach) wants to push me as hard as I can push myself. I’ve never heard that before. We had a long meeting and he proved himself. They really want me.”

Missouri is up next January 20, and Fasusi said he's eager to continue to build his relationships with the Tigers coaching staff.

Then, he'll travel to Eugene for a January 27 trip to re-visit the Oregon Ducks.

"My relationship with them is amazing," Fasusi said. "Ever since they offered me and I visited… they are always checking up on me.”

The five-star recruit indicated Oregon is one of his top options, and that it will be crucial to take his family on this try to see what he saw previously.

“I’m trying to get the family out there," he said.

It's way too early to say which way Fasusi is leaning, but clearly Missouri, Oregon and Texas A&M are getting their chance to impress the nation's No. 2 offensive tackle this month.
