How to watch: Bryce Underwood, nation's No. 1 overall prospect, set to announce commitment Saturday

Belleville (Michigan) five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood is set to announce his college commitment

The nation's No. 1 overall prospect in the class of 2025 is ready to come off the board.

On Saturday, Belleville (Michigan) five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood will announce his college commitment from a group of finalists that includes Alabama, Colorado, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Oregon and Penn State.

According to 247Sports, the 6-foot-3, 210-pound signal-caller will make his announcement via a video set to be posted at "approximately 5:30 p.m. ET."

Expect that video to be posted to social media (LINKS: Underwood's Twitter and Instagram accounts).

Underwood's commitment will be massive news across the recruiting landscape, particularly for Michigan, LSU and Colorado, all of whom have had significant hopes of landing the coveted signal-caller.

Still, entering his decision LSU is widely considered to be the favorite, as the Tigers have 100 percent of the predictions on 247Sports and 94.1 percent of the predictions on On3

As a junior, Underwood was named Michigan's "Gatorade Player of the Year," passing for 3,329 yards and 41 touchdowns with an additional 199 yards and seven scores rushing.

“Bryce Underwood will likely go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of high school football in Michigan," MLive's Greg Wickliffe said. "His junior season was just as impressive as his first two campaigns as he led Belleville to a 13-1 record and a third-straight championship appearance. He was the most consistent player this season with more than 40 touchdown passes to only three interceptions.”

Someone is getting a gem.

That "someone" will likely be Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers.

But we'll all know, for certain, very soon.
