Oregon State Beavers hosting key Northwest prospects this weekend
Fresh off a 10-win season, the Oregon State Beavers are 1-0, ranked No. 16 nationally and look the part of a potential Pac-12 Conference champion.
Recruits are taking notice.
This weekend, Jonathan Smith's program will host several key Northwest prospects.
Here's a look at the top recruits expected on campus:
4-star TE Baron Naone (West Linn; Oregon; 2025) — There are no four-star prospects in Oregon in the class of 2024, but 2025 has one.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound athlete holds early offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Nevada, Oregon State, San Diego State, Penn State, Utah and Washington.
Naone has shown early interest in the Beavers, and this is a return trip.

NR DL F.A. Siale (O'Dea; Washington, 2026) — Don't be fooled by the lack of stars next to F.A. Siale's name.
It's simply too early.
There's been growing buzz about the young defensive lineman for well over a year and he already. holds offers from Florida State, Louisville, Miami, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, Utah and Washington.
It's too early to start making grand comparisons, but there's buzz he's the best defensive line prospect in Washington since J.T. Tuimoloau.
3-star LB Dexter Foster (Central Catholic; Oregon; Committed to Oregon State) — Dexter Foster was an absolute monster at Roosevelt High School early in his career before transferring to Central Catholic.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound 'backer has an intriguing combination of athleticism and an ideal frame.
He remains a bit raw against high-level competition, but the ceiling makes him a great find for the Beavers, especially since it comes from their own backyard.
3-star OL Terrell Kim (North Medford; Oregon; Committed to Oregon State) — Early in his high school career, it became clear Terrell Kim could become a Power 5 conference prospect if he put in the work.
Desperate to realize his dream of becoming a major college football prospect, the 6-foot-4, 328-pound interior lineman worked tirelessly to make it happen.
After a stellar spring and summer camp circuit, Kim picked up an offer from Oregon State and quickly committed.
Kim is a high character, high motor "get" for Oregon State, a perfect fit for Smith's rising program.
3-star OL Payton Stewart (Kelso; Washington: Committed to Oregon State) — Payton Stewart, once a Northwestern commitment, holds offers from Arizona State, Boise State, Cal, Duke, SMU, Washington State and others.
But after opening things back up, Oregon State quickly emerged as the team to beat and secured his commitment.
The 6-foot-7, 270-pound tackle has a huge frame and should easily eclipse 300 pounds (of good weight) in college.
3-star RB/DB Marcus Nixon (Squalicum; Washington; 2025) — The nation's No. 48 running back, Marcus Nixon could play on either side of the ball in college and holds an early offer from Nevada.
3-star DB Peyton Cunningham (North Creek; Washington; 2025) — The 6-foot-1, 170-pound defensive back holds an early offer from Washington State.
