Montverde Academy (Florida) started the 2023-24 high school basketball season in November as the nation’s No. 1 ranked team. Nine weeks later, the Eagles are still at the top.

Fresh off a 1-0 week featuring a dominant victory, Cooper Flagg and Montverde (19-0) held on to No. 1 in the latest update to the SBLive/Sports Illustrated Power 25 national high school boys basketball rankings.

Later this week, the Eagles will host the Montverde Academy Invitational Tournament, an eight-team tournament including No. 4 Prolific Prep (California) and No. 11 Brewster Academy (New Hampshire).

Notre Dame (California) and Patrick School (New Jersey) joined the top 25 this week, with Harvard-Westlake (California) and Dream City Christian (Arizona) falling to the bubble for now.
