MECHANICSBURG, Pennsylvania - This past weekend, the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association held the football state championship games at Cumberland Valley High School.

There were plenty of good performances across the six games and here are the candidates for the top ones. Read through the nominees and cast your vote.

Corey Bouchelle, Fort Cherry

Led the Rangers with eight tackles in a loss to Steelton-Highspire in the Clas 1A championship.

Durrell Ceaser, Jr., Steelton-Highspire

Pulled down 13 catches for 147 yards and a score in a 42-8 win over Fort Cherry in the Class 1A state championship.

Anthony Crews, Belle Vernon

Returned the opening kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown in the Class 3A championship game and then took a jet sweep 62 yards for a score.

Mikal Davis, Imhotep Charter

The Army commit had 184 yards passing and a score and ran for 85 yard and three touchdowns as the Panthers defeated Peters Township 38-14 in the Class 5A championship. 

Alex Erby, Steelton-Highspire

The Navy commit added his name to another spot in the Pennsylvania record books, becoming the all-time single-season passing touchdown leader. He finished the game 29-of-39 for 340 yards and five touchdowns. He also had a 37-yard rushing touchdown.

Nicholas Farrell, Dallas

In the Class 4A championship game loss to Aliquippa, Farrell led the Mountaineers with eight tackles, including a tackle for loss.

Nazier Fuller, Steelton-Highspire

On just two catches, had 94 yards and two touchdowns as the Rollers defeated Fort Cherry in the Class 1A state championship.

Garrett Garcia, Southern Columbia

Led the Tigers defense with 15 tackles in the Class 2A state championship game win over Westinghouse and also carried the ball 15 times for 73 yards, including a 28-yard run from the 1-yard-line on the game-winning drive.

QaLil Goode, Aliquippa

Intercepted three passes - including one he took back 85 yards for a touchdown - in a 60-14 win over Dallas in the Class 4A championship.

Eugene Green, Steelton-Highspire

In a 42-8 win over Fort Cherry in the Class 1A state championship, Green led all players with 12 tackles. 

Khalil Green, Westinghouse

In the Class 2A state championship game against Southern Columbia, he threw for 207 yards and a pair of scores and ran for 109 yards and a touchdown.

Tiqwai Hayes, Aliquippa 

In a 60-14 win over Dallas in the Class 4A championship game, the junior Penn State commit ran the ball 18 times for 220 yards and three touchdowns.

Samaj Jones, St. Joseph's Prep

The University of Cincinnati commit completed 14-of-17 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 115 yards and three scores as the Hawks defeated North Allegheny 45-23 in the Class 6A championship game. 

Carter Madden, Southern Columbia 

Scored the game-winning touchdown from 12 yards out with 42 seconds left in the Class 2A state championship game.

Quinton Martin, Belle Vernon

In the 38-7 win over Northwestern Lehigh in the Class 3A championship, the Penn State commit led the Leopards with 133 yards rushing on eight carries, including a 92-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

Louden Murphy, Southern Columbia 

In the Class 2A state championship win over Westinghouse, he carried the ball 16 times for 187 yards, including an 83-yard touchdown run.

Taymir O'Neal, Westinghouse

Did a little bit of everything for the Bulldogs in the Class 2A state championship, as he made four catches for 76 yards and a score, had an interception, and made eight tackles with 1.5 tackles for loss.

Dante Recker, Peters Township

In a loss to Imhotep Charter in the Class 5A championship, Recker led the Peters Township defense with 10 tackles and an interception.

John Tracy, Aliquippa

On just eight carries, ran for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a win over Dallas in the Class 4A championship game.

Arison Walker, Aliquippa

In the win over Dallas in the Class 4A championship game, Walker came up with a pair of interceptions.

Jabree Wallace-Coleman, Imhotep Charter

The Gorgia commit ran for 214 yards on 30 carries, including a 68-yard touchdown run, as the Panthers defeated Peters Township 38-14 in the Class 5A championship.
