Pennsylvania high school football playoff brackets: 2023 state tournament matchups, game times for state championship games
The Pennsylvania high school football season is down to its final two teams in each class of PIAA state tournament and those teams will now converge on Mechanicsburg for the state championship games.
Four of the six state champions from 2022 - St. Joseph's Prep (6A), (4A), Belle Vernon (3A), Southern Columbia (2A) and Steelton-Highspire (1A) are still standing as they look to repeat as state champions.
The PIAA state championships will be once again held at Cumberland Valley High School from Dec. 7-9.
Thursday, Dec. 7th
Class 1A – 1:00 p.m
Class 4A – 7:00 p.m.
Friday, Dec. 8th
Class 2A – 1:00 p.m.
Class 5A – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 9th
Class 3A – 1:00 p.m.
Class 6A – 7:00 p.m.

2023 PIAA football playoff state tournament brackets
Class 6A
State championship game: St. Joseph's Prep vs. North Allegheny, Saturday, Dec. 9 at 7:00 pm
Class 5A
State championship game: Imhotep Charter vs Peters Township, Friday, Dec. 8 at 7:00 pm
Class 4A
State championship game: Dallas vs Aliquippa, Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 pm
Class 3A
State championship game: Northwestern Lehigh vs.Belle Vernon, Saturday, Dec. 9 at 1:00 pm
Class 2A
State championship game: Southern Columbia vs. Westinghouse, Friday, Dec. 8 at 1:00 pm
Class 1A
State championship game: Steelton-Highspire vs. Fort Cherry, Thursday, Dec. 7 at 1:00 pm
