Pennsylvania high school football playoffs 2023: Class 3A brackets, matchups, predictions for final four

The PIAA football playoffs are down to the last 24 teams standing, as four teams will take their shot this weekend in the state semifinals of each of the six classes for a chance to play in the state championship game.

The Class 5A state semifinals will be played on Friday, Dec. 1 at a neutral site with the winners advancing to next week's state championship games.

The PIAA state championships will be once again held at Cumberland Valley High School from Dec. 7-9.

Thursday, Dec. 7th

Class 1A – 1:00 p.m
Class 4A – 7:00 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 8th
Class 2A – 1:00 p.m.
Class 5A – 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 9th
Class 3A – 1:00 p.m.
Class 6A – 7:00 p.m.

Wyomissing vs. Northwestern Lehigh at Kutztown University, 7:00 pm

Belle Vernon vs. Hickory at North Allegheny High School, 7:00 pm

Northwestern Lehigh: Def. Scranton Prep 27-6

Belle Vernon: Def. Avonworth 26-0

Hickory: Def. Central 41-35, 2OT
