Here are the candidates for SBLive’s Pennsylvania high school athlete of the week for September October 29 – November 4. Read through the nominees and cast your vote. Voting will conclude Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Votes must be made in the poll and emailed votes will not count. Shaye Bailey, Freedom Area girls soccer 

Scored her 46th goal of the season in the WPIAL Class 1A semifinals to help the Bulldogs to a 3-2 win over Springdale.

Michael Blidi, Milton Hershey football

In the opening game of the District 3, Class 4A playoffs, Blidi led the defense with 14 tackles, including four tackles for loss, in a win over Eastern York.

Drew Branstetter, Camp Hill football

Opened the District 3, Class 2A playoffs by throwing for 299 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-14 win over Annville-Cleona. He also added a touchdown on the ground.

Angel Cabrera, Hershey football

Found the end zone four times and rushed for 175 yards on 35 carries as Hershey overcame a 21-0 deficit to defeat Exeter Township 28-27 in the District 3, Class 5A playoffs.

Jackson Chiocco, Fairview boys soccer

Converted on a penalty kick that ended up being the game-winner in a victory over General McLane 2-1 to take home the District 10, Class 2A championship. He also netted a pair of penalty kicks in the semifinals against Grove City.

Samir Crosby, Greensburg Central Catholic football

Made the most of his opportunities in a win over West Greene in the WPIAL Class 1A first round playoffs, hauling in four catches for 131 yards and three touchdowns.

Nolan DiLucia, Peters Township football

In the opening round of the WPIAL Class 5A playoffs, DiLucia accounted for over 300 yards of offense and five touchdowns in a win over Franklin Regional. He threw for 280 yards and three scores and added 90 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns.

Armand Hill, West Mifflin football

The freshman running back continues to impress, this time with 219 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 19 carries in a 40-14 win over Mt. Pleasant in the WPIAL Class 3A playoffs.

Hunter Hohman, Grove City football

In the District 10 Class 3A quarterfinals, Hohman accounted for all five touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Fort LeBoeuf. He was 17-of-19 passing for 307 yards and three scores while adding 120 yards on the ground and a pair of touchdowns.

Ethen Knox, Oil City football

In a win over North East in the District 10 Class 3A quarterfinals, Knox carried the ball 36 times for 372 yards and five touchdowns.

Josh Ludlow, Notre Dame Green Pond football

In the opening round of the District 11, Class 3A playoffs, the senior running back carried the ball 17 times for 180 yards and six touchdowns in a 56-20 win over Saucon Valley.

Jace McCoy, Northwest Area football

In a District 4, Class 2A playoff win over Bucktail, the quarterback completed 18-of-23 passes for 178 yards and four touchdowns.

Josh Mruk, Wyoming Area football

In the District 2, Class 4A quarterfinals, Mruk caught a touchdown pass and intercepted two passes, one of which he returned for a score, in a 31-19 win over North Pocono.

Bron Mosley, Altoona football

In a 26-8 win over Mifflin County in the District 6, Class 6A playoffs, Mosley ran for 126 yards and four touchdowns.

Blayze Myers, McDowell football

The junior quarterback was 21-of-27 for 259 yards and five touchdown passes as the Trojans won the District 10 Class 6A championship over Erie.

Ethan Pillar, Pine-Richland football

In just one half of action, the senior running back had 172 yards rushing and four touchdowns in a win over Beythel Park in the first round of the WPIAL Class 5A playoffs.

Brianna Ross, Springdale girls soccer

In the WPIAL Class 1A third-place game, she scored five times and assisted on a pair of other goals in a 7-0 win over South Allegheny.

Emily Samluk, Fort LeBoeuf girls soccer

Her walk-off goal in the final minute of overtime gave the Bison a 2-1 win over General McLane to win the District 10, Class 2A title.

Hleb Subach, Bishop McCort hockey

In a 2-1 win over South Fayette, Subach made 26 saves. 

Trey Tremba, Parkland football

Accounted for 184 yards of offense and three touchdowns in a win over Williamsport. He had 10 carries for 105 yards rushing and a pair of scores and also caught two passes for 79 yards and a 73-yard touchdown catch.
