The 27th Les Schwab Invitational boys basketball tournament continued Friday at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Semifinals

Columbus (Fla.) 92, Central Catholic 73 

The Explorers ran to a 29-10 lead in the first eight minutes and dominated the glass en route to a comfortable win over the Rams. 

Cameron Boozer and Jase Richardson scored 15 points apiece, Malik Abdullahi and Jaxon Richardson dropped 12 each, and Cayden Boozer and Benny Fragela added nine apiece to lead 13 Columbus (9-4) of Florida scorers. 

Isaac Carr notched a game-high 22 points, Duce Paschal scored 17, and Zamir Paschal contributed 15 for Central Catholic (6-2). Robbie Long came off the bench to score eight points for the Rams, who were outrebounded 47-31 and will face Perry of Arizona in the third-place contest. 

Harvard-Westlake (Calif.) 78, Perry (Ariz.) 56

The Wolverines drained 10 first-half three-pointers (13 overall) and led 44-27 at halftime on their way to a decisive victory over the Pumas and a spot in the tournament final. 

Trent Perry scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds, Nikolas Khamenia also had 21 points, and Robert Hinton put up 18 points to provide the bulk of the offense for Harvard-Westlake (15-0) of California. 

Koa Peat had 21 points and nine rebounds, D’Andre Harrison contributed 12 points, and Barron Silsby chipped in 11 for Perry (10-4) of Arizona. The Pumas will face Central Catholic in the third-place game Saturday. 

Consolation

Mountainside 59, Lake Oswego 39 

The Mavericks sprinted to a 35-19 halftime lead and never looked back in a secure win over the Lakers. 

Peyton Reyes led all scorers with 16 points, Omar Faroukh had 12 points, and J’Kobi Nicholson added nine to carry Mountainside (6-3) to its first tournament victory. 

Aengus Sutherland scored 13 points to lead Lake Oswego (2-9). Peter Cory tallied seven points, and Liam Rigney and Liam Davis chipped in five apiece for the Lakers, who committed 15 turnovers and missed 17 three-point attempts (3 of 20). 

Liberty 80, West Linn 77

Donovan Crowder (28 points), Tyler Bradford (18), James Kefgen (13) and Elijah Streeter (11) reached double figures in scoring, leading the Falcons to a close come-from-behind win over the Lions. 

Tavian Womack added six bench points for tournament host Liberty (6-2), which trailed 60-59 entering the fourth quarter. 

Jalen Snook poured in 31 points, Pat Viavla put up 24 points, and Nick DiGuilio notched 12 points with seven assists and four steals to pace West Linn (3-6).

Tualatin 82, Cascade Christian 73

Jemai Lake rained in 41 points in 32 minutes, Jaden Steppe put up a double-double with 21 points and 18 rebounds, and the Timberwolves ran past the Challengers to advance to the consolation final. 

Zach Zuckerman added eight points and Javier Diaz pitched in six in support of Tualatin (8-4), which made 17 of 18 free throws and had only three turnovers. 

Avery Huston (29 points), Austin Maurer (18 points, 15 rebounds) and Jaren Fronckonwiak (12) landed in double digits for Cascade Christian (3-5). The Challengers led 19-12 after eight minutes but were outscored in each of the final three quarters.

Jesuit 80, Summit 79 (OT) 

The Crusaders erased an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to force overtime before prevailing over the Storm to reach Saturday’s consolation final versus Tualatin. 

Pat Kilfoil went for 30 points (including the winning three-pointer), Nico Rafalovich had 26, and Hudson Rommel added 11 for Jesuit (6-3), which got nine points from Isaac Bongen and launched 34 three-point attempts (11 made). 

Pearson Carmichael posted a game-high 34 points, and Collin Moore and Mac Bledsoe tallied 18 apiece to account for all but nine points for Summit (5-3). The Storm led 53-42 entering the final period.

Beaverton 76, Barlow 67 

Max Elmgren (26 points), Aidan Rice (19), Chance Winter (12 points, 10 rebounds) and Max Campbell (12) reached double figures in scoring, leading the Beavers to a come-from-behind win over the Bruins. 

Beaverton (7-3) trailed by nine after one quarter but used an 18-8 free throw advantage to storm back and advance to the fifth-place game. 

Mason Bierbrauer put up 21 points, Jalen Atkins had 16, and Brayden Barron added 15 to pace Barlow (6-2). The Bruins knocked down 11 three-pointers but missed seven free throws. 

Southridge 80, Mt. Spokane (Wash.) 62 

The Skyhawks used balanced scoring and a big fourth quarter to cruise by the Wildcats and set up a fifth-place game matchup against Metro League rival Beaverton. 

Dante Scott (17 points, 13 rebounds), Keenan Reckamp (17), Carter Fortune (12), Alonzo Hoff (12) and Elijah Thompson (11) hit double digits in points to lead Southridge (9-1), which pulled away during a 29-12 final period. 

Bode Gardner scored 23 points and Ryan Lafferty put up 17 for Mt. Spokane (7-2) of Washington. The Wildcats were outscored 19-3 from the free throw line and committed 15 turnovers.
