AbbieGail Michael of Grants Pass voted the WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week

Michael received 32.79% of the vote, beating out Canby's Ellie Imdieke, who finished second with 27.05%

Congratulations to Grant Pass’ AbbieGail Michael for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Oregon Girls Athlete of the Week for the Week of Sept. 18-24. 

Michael, a senior goalkeeper for the Grants Pass girls soccer team, came up with four saves to help the Cavers earn a 2-0 shutout victory over Roseburg in a Southwest Conference match at Roseburg High School.

Michael received 32.79% of the vote, beating out Ellie Imdieke, a junior on the Canby girls soccer team, who finished second with 27.05%. Caroline Mick, a senior on the Mazama volleyball team, was third with 11.60% and McKenna Eggleston, a senior on the Tigard girls soccer team, was fourth with 10.39%. There were more than 21,000 votes tallied this week.
