Elgin tailback Matt Lund voted SBLive's Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week

Lund continues to turn in huge rushing performances for undefeated Owls

A key reason Elgin has achieved an undefeated record to this point has been the play of its senior tailback, Matt Lund. 

Lund, who is the Owls' all-time leading rusher, continued his impressive season in a big 62-7 district win against Lawton MacArthur on Oct. 27. In that game, he rushed for 155 yards and on his only reception, he scored a touchdown.

For his efforts, Lund was voted the SBLive Oklahoma High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 23-29.
