As we cross the halfway point of the regular season of high school football and near the finish line in volleyball, softball and cross country, it is time to take a look back at some of the best individual performances from a week ago.

Malachi Nicholson, El Reno football
The senior running back carried the ball for a state single-game 11-man record 521 yards in a 68-67 win at Noble on Friday night, scoring eight touchdowns on 37 carries.
Phoenix Murphy, Norman football
The Tigers rallied to beat Edmond Memorial, 44-43 in overtime on Friday night. Murphy passed for 309 yards and two touchdowns, the most by a Norman quarterback since 2019.
Shaker Reisig, Tulsa Union football
As the Redhawks went on to get an easy win over Yukon, Reisig passed for more than 400 yards and passed for six touchdowns.
Gage Deckard, Claremore football
The senior wideout had five catches for 128 carries and three touchdowns in a 30-14 win at Grove.
Mason Smith, Edmond Deer Creek football
In a 34-0 win over Putnam City, Smith had 10 receptions for 256 yards, had a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown.
Dos Owensshells, Chickasha football
The two-way player had 226 yards rushing, scoring three times on 22 carries. Defensively, he had 11 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
Brady Matheson, Cushing football
Matheson had 225 yards receiving on just six catches in a crucial 48-14 district win over Catoosa. He had four touchdowns.
Jack Dionisio, Bishop Kelley football
Dionisio came up big defensively for the Comets, as he had two interceptions, one of which was returned for an 88-yard touchdown.
Eric Stephenson, Perkins-Tryon football
In a big district win over Metro Christian, Stephenson ran for 176 yards and scored two second-half touchdowns. He had two receptions on 42 yards. Stephenson also had an interception and a sack.
Mason Cox, Westville football
The junior had 128 yards rushing, scoring two touchdowns on the ground and grabbing another through the air. He also had three interceptions on defense, one of which he returned for a touchdown.
Easton Malone, Barnsdall football
The Panthers scheduled a game against Wetumka on Friday night. Malone had 131 yards rushing on 19 carries and was 2-for-2 on two-point conversions. He also had nine tackles defensively in a 32-20 win.
Nevin Corbin, Dewar football
In a 52-40 win over Velma-Alma, the senior running back had 365 yards and six touchdowns on 36 carries.
Delaney Sullivan, Crossings Christian volleyball
The senior libero for the Class 3A Lady Knights led her team to a four-set win over the No. 1 ranked team in Southwest Covenant.
Addison Worley, Moore volleyball
In a three-match span over the weekend, Worley had 81 kills, 58 digs and four aces.
Olivia Ward, Mt. St. Mary’s volleyball
Ranked as one of the top volleyball players in the state, Ward had the opportunity to better her skills this past weekend at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
Willa Ford, Edmond Santa Fe fast pitch softball
Ford made school history last week, breaking the home run record for the Lady Wolves with the 16th of her career.
Jayelle Austin, Owasso fast pitch softball
Austin recently committed to play college softball at Oklahoma State University, and she has led the Lady Rams to be a favorite to win the Class 6A state softball championship in 2023. In their regional opening contest against Bartlesville this week, Austin hit a home run.
Annika Dill, Poteau fast pitch softball
A two-RBI home run from Dill gave Poteau all it needed to beat Oktaha in the regional championship.
Jack Morgan, Elk City boys cross country
Morgan competed in the Elk City Cross Country Invitational and won the race with a time of 17:13.
Calliy Walker, Cordell girls cross country
Walker competed in the Elk City Cross Country Invitational and won the race with a time of 13:25.
