Abdullah Ahmad, Shaker Heights football
In a 39-34 win at Brunswick, the senior quarterback threw for 226 yards including a 61-yard pass for a touchdown. Ahmad also scored on a 54-yard scramble.
Maddox Arnold, Elder football
In a 32-31 overtime win over St. Xavier, Arnold led the Panthers with 12 tackles.
Ryan Brass, Elder football
In the win over St. Xavier, he was 21-of-34 for 239 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, he added 128 yards on 25 carries for two more scores and the game-winning two-point conversion in overtime.
Marquan Braswell, Toledo Central Catholic football
The senior running back ran for a season-high 182 yards on 21 carries and scored an 8-yard touchdown to help the Fighting Irish blank St. Ignatius 28-0.
Amir Brown, Northland football
Brown rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries in a 49-14 win over East.
Millie Cluxton, Seton girls soccer
In a win over West Clermont on Saturday, the senior recorded a hat trick and assisted on another pair of goals for the defending Division I state champions.
Jack Ericson, Ursuline football
Accounted for three touchdowns in Ursuline’s victory over Austintown Fitch. Ericson got the Irish on the board early with a 5-yard touchdown run. Later, he added a 52-yard touchdown pass and a 26-yard touchdown run to help top the Falcons 32-14.
Luke Faler, Lebanon football
Faler threw for a season-high 304 yards and two touchdowns in Lebanon's 14-11 win over Turpin.
Balycia "Baly" Gomez, Lorain girls soccer
Recorded a pair of hat tricks during the week with one against Bedford on Tuesday and then another against Shaw on Thursday. The hat trick against Shaw was her fifth in a row.
Nolan Good, Avon football
The junior quarterback accounted for six touchdowns in Avon’s 52-10 victory over Olmsted Falls, including one on a 45-yard pass in the third quarter. Good also added 105 yards on the ground.
Ally Haynes, Medina Highland girls tennis
The junior won her No. 1 singles match 6-3, 6-1 over Gracie Milano of Aurora to help the Hornets win their eighth straight Suburban League American Division title.
Jack Leppelmeier, Pettisville boys golf
Took home medalist honors in the Buckeye Border Conference championship at Ironwood Golf Course by shooting. a72 to win by eight strokes.
Logan Lesch, Sandusky Perkins football
The senior quarterback helped the Pirates defeat Clyde 31-7, finishing 13-of-19 for 242 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Jovan Love, Archbishop Moeller football
In a 28-20 victory over La Salle, Love scored on touchdown passes of 33 and 74 yards.
Mikey Maloney, Riverside football
Maloney finished 11-of-14 for 151 yards and a touchdown pass while adding three scores on the ground as the Beavers beat South 56-8.
Brock Sherman, Walsh Jesuit football
Punched in two rushing touchdowns to lead the Warriors to a 43-13 win at St. Vincent-St.Mary.
Jalen Slaughter, Massillon football
Without starting quarterback DaOne Owens, Slaughter led the Tigers offensively finishing 15-of-29 for 293 yards and three touchdowns as Massillon defeated Middletown 47-1 to remain unbeaten.
Kyle Sutton, Wayne Trace boys golf
In the Green Meadows Conference tournament, he shot a 71 at Ironwood Golf Course to take home medalist honors by three shots.
Jake Uhlenhake, Bishop Watterson football
Hauled in five catches for 116 yards and three scores in Bishop Watterson’s 35-7 victory over Bishop Hartley.
Cody Wulf, Maumee football
Wulf led the offense with 280 rushing yards and four touchdowns. On defense, he recorded a strip sack for a touchdown.
Brandon White, St. Edward football
In the first quarter, White got the Eagles on the board with a 2-yard rushing touchdown and a 4-yard touchdown catch. White finished with 96 yards on 16 touches, including two receptions as St. Edward defeated River Rouge (Michigan) 42-6.
