Everyone loves an exciting highlight, but what was the North Carolina Boys Basketball Play of the Week?

You are the judge. Please watch the video clip above featuring this week's Play of the Week candidates, and read the descriptions below and vote for your choice for the North Carolina Boys Basketball Play of the Week.

Voting will conclude on Saturday, February 3rd at 11:59 p.m. and the winner will be announced in next week's Plays of the Week poll.

Here are the this week's nominees:

Sadiq White, Myers Park, Breakaway 1-Handed Slam:

Defense often creates offense and it did in this case. Myers Park generated a steal on the defensive end and quickly advanced to a string Sadiq White, in a January 23rd, 79-35, road win over Phillip O. Berry. Needless to say, White knew how to finish.

Desmond Kent Jr. and Josh Dalton, Central Cabarrus, Back-to-Back Jams:

This Play of the Week candidate delivers two for the price of one. First Josh Dalton delivers a perfect outlet pass to Desmond Kent Jr. for a two-handed jam, before Dalton receives a nice feed on the wing and takes it to the iron for a powerful one-handed throw down. The sequence occurred January 23rd during an 88-19 thrashing at South Rowan.

Jazion Willoughby & Jocquez Dixon, Farmville Central, Nifty Assist:

Big dunks and three-pointers often get the loudest cheers, but nothing pleases coach more than a fundamentally sound assist. That’s exactly what Jazion Willoughby delivers for teammate Jocquez Dixon here, as FarmVille Central rolled to a 99-44 romp at home over North Pitt on January 23rd.

Dominique Tshiboyi, East Forsyth, Drive, Assist, Steal and Score:

Locked in a tight fourth quarter battle with 14th ranked Davie County, Dominique Tshiboyi drives the baseline for a score. He then whips the ball inside to create a score for teammate JP Gilchrist, before coming up with a steal on defense and goes down to convert a short jumper. The sequence turned a one-point lead into a seven-point bulge and the Eagles rolled from there, pulling off a 68-51 upset on January 25th.

Grant Dryden, Lake Norman, Buzzer-Beating Three:

Lake Norman senior Grant Dryden doubled his team’s lead with a long three-pointer from the left corner, just ahead of the buzzer at the end of the first quarter. The Wildcats never looked back as they cruised to a 77-58 road win over Hickory Ridge on January 25th.
