Dorian Brew, top 2025 Ohio high school football prospect, moves to Texas

Conroe (Texas) has added Brew, a 5-star defensive back

A 5-star defensive back and the top-rated high school football player in Ohio has moved to Texas. 

Northmont (Ohio) junior Dorian Brew has moved to the Houston, Texas area and enrolled at Southeast Texas powerhouse Conroe. 

The move was first reported by 247 Sports on Friday. Dave Campbell's confirmed Thursday Brew's enrollment status.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Brew is the No. 13 prospect in the class of 2025 nationally and nation's No. 3 corner. He has two dozen offers with reported interest from Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Texas A&M. 

He was a two-way standout at cornerback and wide receiver at Northmont. The Clayton, Ohio team is 3-2 on the season coming off of back-to-back losses.

Brew visited Ohio State the previous two weekends. 

Conroe (3-1) is coming off of a 63-14 loss to Willis. Brew is the latest blue chip on a team that also includes cornerback DeVondre McGee (TCU), senior athlete Tice Williams (Texas State) and Sam Houston State committed linebacker Mitch Melton.
