Carrollton (Georgia)

Coming off of a heartbreaking Week 1 loss to Langston Hughes, Carrollton took out its frustrations on South Paulding in Week 2 with a 49-0 rout.

USC commit Julian Lewis finished with 241 passing yards and three touchdowns. He threw for 4,118 yards and 48 touchdowns to lead Carrollton to the state finals as a freshman last fall.

Rome (Georgia)

The running clock came out early last week in Rome's 56-8 drubbing of Lithonia.

That followed a 34-0 win over Cass in Week 1 at the Corky Kell and Dave Hunter Classic, so Rome hasn't faced much of a challenge thus far.

That will change this week.
