Laquey's Alexis Shelton voted SBLive’s Missouri High School Athlete of the Week (12/27/2023)
Congratulations to Laquey girls basketball player Alexis Shelton, who was voted the SBLive Missouri High School Athlete of the Week for December 11-17.
She received more than 61 percent of the total votes cast for the week.
Shelton reached the 1,000-point mark in a game against Crane at the Queen City Showcase in Springfield.
Cape Notre Dame girls basketball player Nevaeh Lucious finished second in the voting after receiving more than 20 percent of the votes.
