Here are the nominees for SBLive Mississippi's High School Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 15-21. Read through the nominations carefully, and vote in the poll below. Votes will be tallied until midnight Sunday. The winner will be announced Monday, Jan. 29. Logan Burns, Hattiesburg (Boys hoops)

Turned in two double-doubles with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 75-51 win over Heidelberg and 13 points and 11 rebounds in a 62-37 win over the West Jones Mustangs.

Sam Hailey, Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Boys hoops)

Earned MVP honors at the Rumble in the South with 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in a 50-48 win over Raymond.

Phil Nelson, Ridgeland (Boys hoops)

Helped the Titans to two big wins, with 27 points, five rebounds and four assists in a 79-48 win over Callaway and 18 points, five assists and three steals in a 56-51 win over Harrison Central at Rumble in the South.

Anna Patterson, Bay Springs (Girls hoops)

Recorded two double-doubles, with 24 points and 10 rebounds in a 74-51 win over Clarkdale and 21 points and 19 rebounds in a 49-44 win over Newton.

Eric Paymon, Jr., Raymond (Boys hoops)

Played a big role in three games for the Rangers, scoring 18 points in a 75-36 win over Lanier, 11 points in a 64-49 win over Wingfield and 32 more in a 50-48 loss to MRA.

Levi Richardson, Enterprise-Clarke (Boys soccer)

Scored five goals in two games, helping the Bulldogs to wins over Southeast Lauderdale and Quitman.

Alana Rouser, Germantown (Girls hoops)

Put together two great games, tallying 14 points and 20 rebounds in a 37-33 win over Clinton and a 20-point, 12-rebound performance in a 65-26 win over Murrah.

Mike Williams, Jackson Academy (Boys hoops)

Scored 20 points in a 69-47 win over previously unbeaten Madison-Ridgeland Academy, then dropped 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists in an 80-48 win over Madison Central.
