Jackson McAndrew, Creighton commit, jumps in 247sports 2024 basketball rankings

McAndrew rose 21 spots to 36 in the latest rankings

Jackson McAndrew is already a Minnesota high school basketball Class 4A champion, and now he is the No. 36-ranked recruit in the country in the class of 2024, according to 247sports.com.

McAndrew committed to Creighton University on August 1, and he moved up 21 spots in the latest rankings. He joins 3-star guard Ty Davis in Creighton's class of 2024.

The Wayzata standout led the Trojans to a state title last season. He finished that game with 25 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.

"McAndrews is a heck of a player," Park Center head coach James Ware said after the game. "You name it, he can do it. ... As a Minnesotan, I'm excited to continue to watch him throughout his basketball career. He's as bright as anybody we've seen come out of the state in a long time. He's awesome."

The 6-foot-9 forward is an elite shooter with the ability to put the ball on the floor. He shot 45 percent from 3-point range during the EYCL season, according to 247sports.
