Early National Signing Day 2023 updates: Where Michigan's top 2024 football prospects are expected to sign

The top senior prospects in Michigan high school football will sign with a collegiate program on Wednesday

Early national signing day begins on Wednesday, and many high school football prospects across the state of Michigan will sign with a school. 

SBLive has listed the top 30 prospects in Michigan and where they're headed. This page will be updated throughout Wednesday if any commitments change.

Four-star prospects

1. CJ Carr - quarterback, Saline - Notre Dame

Carr is the top-ranked senior in Michigan high school football. The Saline quarterback has already practiced with Notre Dame. Carr completed 68 percent of his passes for 2,724 yards and 24 touchdowns to nine interceptions for Saline. 

He is the grandson to former Michigan coach Lloyd Carr.

2. Nick Marsh - wide receiver, River Rouge - Michigan State

Marsh committed to Michigan State in the summer of 2022, and he has remained committed through a coaching change in East Lansing. 

Marsh caught 35 passes for 567 yards and seven touchdowns.

3. Brady Prieskorn - tight end, Adams (Rochester) - Michigan

Prieskorn is the No. 11 tight end in the country, and he's been committed to Michigan since spring of 2023. He had 33 catches for 654 yards and eight touchdowns this season.

4. Brandon Davis-Swain - defensive line, West Bloomfield - Colorado

Davis-Swain is one of the key pieces in Deion Sanders' first recruiting class at Colorado. Davis-Swain was a two-way star for West Bloomfield. He had 91 tackles and 19 sacks on defense, and on offense he scored eight touchdowns.  

He is second all-time in MHSAA history with 50 career sacks.

5. Andrew Dennis - offensive line, Mt. Pleasant - Illinois

One of the top interior lineman in the nation, Dennis was a Michigan state commit before decommitting after the school fired Mel Tucker. Dennis is the top player in Illinois' 2024 class entering Wednesday.

6. Jacob Oden - safety, Harper Woods - Michigan

Oden is staying in the state with is commitment to Michigan. He's a two-way star who had 56 tackles and four interceptions.

7. Jeremiah Beasley - linebacker, Belleville - Michigan

Beasley is the Wolverines' top linebacker in the 2024 class. He was an integral part of Belleville's run to another state title game. Beasley had 119 tackles, five sacks and one interception.

8. Dylan Mesman - tight end, Saline - Louisville

Mesman caught 48 passes for 544 yards and six touchdowns. He is the No. 2 player in Louisville's 2024 class entering Wednesday.

9. Desman Stephens - linebacker, Clarkston - USC

Stephens was everywhere for Clarkston in 2023. He had 64 carries for 613 yards and nine touchdowns while adding 83 tackles on defense in addition to special teams returning duties. He finished with 1,442 all-purpose yards and 15 touchdowns.

10. Jalen Todd - cornerback, Southfield - Kansas

11. Jamir Benjamin - cornerback, West Bloomfield - UCLA

12. Kari Jackson - linebacker, West Bloomfield - Penn State

13. Gabe VanSickle - offensive line, Coopersville - Ohio State

14. Brady Pretzlaff - linebacker, Gaylord - Michigan State

15. Tashi Braceful - wide receiver, Southfield - Toledo

16. Isaiah Marshall - quarterback, Southfield - Kansas

17. Idrys Cotton - offensive line, Plymouth (Canton) - Northwestern

18. Jadyn Walker - linebacker, Portage Northern - Michigan State

19. Montele Johnson - linebacker, West Bloomfield - Rutgers

20. Ty Hudkins - safety, Forest Hills Central (Grand Rapids) - Purdue

21. Brody Kosin - tight end, Clarkston - Indiana

22. Callen Campbell - defensive line, Sault Area - Northwestern

23. Kalieb Osborne - quarterback, Waterford Mott - Toledo

24. Nakai Amachree - running back, Haslett - Boston College

25. Shamar Riser-Pressley - defensive line, Clinton Township Clintondale - Buffalo

26. Braylon Isom - wide receiver, Saginaw Heritage - Miami (OH)

27. Aiden Pastoriza - offensive line, Jackson Lumen Christi - Cincinnati
