Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Football Player of the Week for Oct. 26-28 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, November 5th and the winner will be announced in next week's poll. If you would like to nominate and athlete, please email the name and a brief description of his performance, with stats if available, to gary@scorebooklive.com.

Here are this week's nominees:

Avin Alexandre, John Carroll: The senior rushed 10 times for 246 yards and three touchdowns in the Patriots’ 34-7 win over Mount Carmel.

Vernon Allen, City: The junior caught seven passes for 153 yards and a touchdown as City defeated Poly, 44-6.

Aaron Ayodeyi, Oxon Hill: The junior rushed for 217 yards and two touchdowns in Oxon Hill’s 27-24 loss to DuVal.

Jayden Booker, Gwynn Park: The senior quarterback finished 11 of 15 for 282 yards and four touchdowns as the Yellowjackets defeated Largo, 42-6.

Brayden Brashear, Great Mills: The junior linebacker posted 14 tackles and a sack in the Hornets’ 40-13 victory over Lackey.

Malachi Bryant, Owings Mills: The junior wideout had four catches for 106 yards and two touchdowns as Owings Mills completed an undefeated regular season (9-0) with a 20-15 victory over Hereford.

Corey Costner, Perry Hall: The junior had six receptions for 145 yards and a touchdown as the undefeated Gators defeated Kenwood, 33-6.

Kaden Curtis, Archbishop Spalding: The senior running back finished with 184 yards and a touchdown in Spalding’s 30-24 overtime victory over Loyola Blakefield.

Nick Cyrus, City: The junior quarterback completed 28 of 46 passes for 667 yards and six touchdowns as the Knights defeated Poly, 44-6, for their 11th consecutive victory in the series (City leads 66-62-6).

Trenton DePompa, Huntingtown: The junior had 10 tackles and an interception as the Hurricanes defeated Northern-Calvert, 26-7.

Julius Dorsey, City: Dorsey, a junior, finished with seven catches for 155 yards in City’s victory over Poly.

Romero Ison, City: The junior wideout had seven receptions for 192 yards and two touchdowns in City’s 44-6 victory over Poly in the 134th meeting between the Baltimore City rivals.

Antonio Lyde, Dunbar: The senior had four receptions for 173 yards and two touchdown passes in the Poets’ win over Patterson.

David Miller, Mountain Ridge: The senior wide receiver had 14 catches for 147 yards and four touchdowns in Mountain Ridge’s victory over Keyser (West Virginia).

Jayden Moore, Loyola Blakefield: The Duke University commit finished with seven receptions for 183 yards and a touchdown in the Dons’ 30-24 overtime loss to Archbishop Spalding.

Will Patterson, Mountain Ridge: The senior quarterback completed 21 of 28 passes for 310 yards and seven touchdowns and rushed for 68 yards in Mountain Ridge’s 56-21 victory over Keyser (West Virginia).

Jahmari Powell-Wonson, City: The senior wideout had six receptions for 181 yards and three touchdowns in the Knights’ victory over Poly.

Greyson Rollman, Frederick: The senior quarterback finished 12 of 14 for 221 yards and three touchdowns as the Cadets routed Thomas Johnson, 56-0.

Ethan Sealy, North Harford: The senior defensive end had 11 tackles and a sack in North Harford’s 37-30 victory over Elkton.

Zymear Smith, North Caroline: The junior had two catches for 123 yards and a touchdown in North Caroline’s 35-0 victory over Colonel Richardson.

Domain Wallace, Calvert: The senior running back finished with 133 yards on 22 carries as the Cavaliers defeated previously undefeated Patuxent, 19-14.

Savion Witherspoon, Dunbar: The junior quarterback completed seven of 10 passes for 235 yards and three touchdowns in the Poets’ 62-6 victory over Patterson.
