Here are the candidates for SBLive Sports Maryland High School Football Player of the Week for Sept. 26-28 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive's staff. Read through our notes on each nominee and then cast your vote in out poll.

Voting will conclude on Sunday, October 8th and the winner will be announced in next week's poll. If you would like to nominate and athlete, please email the name and a brief description of his performance, with stats if available, to gary@scorebooklive.com.

Here are this week's nominations:

Evan Austin, Oakdale: The senior who’s committed to Charlotte University, completed 17-of-21 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another in the Bears’ 42-25 victory over Middletown.

Keith Bell, Huntingtown: The junior defensive linemen accumulated 11 tackles and 2 ½ quarterback sacks in the Hurricanes’ 28-7 victory over Leonardtown.

Da’Shawn Conway, Perry Hall: The senior quarterback went 11-of-18 for 267 yards and four touchdowns as the Gators improved to 5-0 with a 47-0 win over Catonsville.

Nicholas Cyrus, City: The junior went 20-of-28 for 463 yards and six touchdowns in the Knights’ 38-0 victory over Lake Clifton.

Jabriel Daniels, Fort Hill: The junior had 27 carries for 184 yards and three touchdowns in Fort Hill’s 28-0 victory over Briar Woods (Va.)

David Davis, Northwest: The junior completed 21-of-31 for 298 yards and added 43 yards rushing and two scores as the Jaguars defeated Bethesda-Chevy Chase, 14-13.

Jeff Exinor, McDonogh: The junior receiver had 11 receptions for 144 yards in the Eagles’ 42-21 victory over Loyola Blakefield.

Romero Ison, City: The junior caught seven passes for 284 yards and three touchdowns in City’s win over Lake Clifton.

Ryder Johnston, North Hagerstown: The senior caught five passes for 158 yards in North Hagerstown’s 44-24 victory over Smithsburg.

Luke Kercheval, North Hagerstown: The senior quarterback finished 13-of-18 for 232 yards and four touchdowns in the Hubs’ win over Smithsburg.

Braeden Palazzo, McDonogh: The sophomore quarterback completed 26 of 32 passes for 334 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 46 yards and a score in McDonogh’s victory over Loyola Blakefield.

Will Patterson, Mountain Ridge: The senior completed 14-of-19 passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns and ran 14 times for 78 yards in Mountain Ridge’s victory over Frankfort (WV).

Marshawn Perry, Potomac: The senior quarterback completed 14-of-22 passes for 367 yards and five touchdowns in the Wolverines’ 47-12 win over Largo.

Elijah Robinson, Potomac: The senior wideout caught four passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns in Potomac’s victory over Largo.

Kayvawn Simms-Rogers, Meade: The senior receiver finished with four receptions for 128 yards and three touchdowns in the Mustangs’ 48-8 victory over North County.

Hunter Thompson, Oakdale: The Ohio University commit caught nine passes for 202 yards and a touchdown in Oakdale’s victory over Middletown.
