Here are the candidates for SBLive's Indiana High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

The sophomore scored 22 points in a 65-41 Class 2A regional win vs. Tipton.

Jack Benner, Brownstown Central boys basketball

The Purdue recruit had 25 points in the Braves' 16th straight win, 67-41 vs. Sullivan in a Class 2A regional.

Flory Bidunga, Kokomo boys basketball

The Kansas recruit had 20 points, seven rebounds and four blocks in a 66-52 Class 4A regional loss to Fishers.

Kobi Bowles, Lawrence North boys basketball

The senior had 22 points in a 69-50 Class 4A regional win vs. Avon.

Jalen Bundy, Center Grove boys basketball

The senior scored 18 points as the Trojans downed Franklin 68-56 in a Class 4A regional.

Peyton Byrd, Center Grove boys basketball

The senior had 18 points in the Trojans' 68-56 win against Franklin in a Class 4A regional.

Kody Clancy, Scottsburg boys basketball

The senior had 30 points, eight steals and six assists in a 84-46 win against Batesville in a Class 3A regional.

Michael Cooper, Jeffersonville boys basketball

The junior scored a game-high 20 points in a 70-65 win against Evansville Harrison in a Class 4A regional.

Austyn Dykes, Franklin Central girls gymnastics

The senior won the uneven bars (9.625) and balance beam (9.575) at state and took second on all-around (38.20).

Keenan Garner, Fishers boys basketball

The senior had a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds as the No. 1 Tigers beat then-No. 2 Kokomo 66-52 in a Class 4A regional.

Julius Gizzi, New Palestine boys basketball

The junior shot 14-for-17 and scored 31 points in a 70-59 loss to Ben Davis in a Class 4A regional.

Aiden Hibbard, Elkhart Christian boys basketball

The senior hit the game-winner and finished with 32 points in a 58-57 Class 1A regional win vs. Tri-County.

Elly Kiran, Crown Point girls gymnastics

The senior won the state all-around title with a 38.425 score and helped the Bulldogs win the team championship. She also won two individual events, the vault (9.725) and floor exercise (9.55), and was runner-up in both uneven bars (9.60) and balance beam (9.55). Kiran also was named the Mildred M. Ball Mental Attitude Award winner.

Evan Lawrence, Danville boys basketball

The senior had a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds in a 61-39 Class 3A regional win vs. Northview.

Jayce Lee, South Bend St. Joseph boys basketball

The senior had four dunks among 17 points in a 53-38 Class 3A regional victory vs. John Glenn.

Taden Metzger, Fishers boys basketball

The senior hit six 3-pointers and scored 18 points in a 66-52 Class 4A regional win vs. Kokomo.

Matthew Roetgger, Peru boys basketball

The senior had 24 points and 15 rebounds in a 62-46 Class 3A regional victory vs. West Lafayette.

Dikembe Shaw, Crown Point boys basketball

The sophomore had 10 of his 15 points in overtime as the Bulldogs beat Warsaw 55-42 in a Class 4A regional.

Eli Speer, Evansville Harrison boys basketball

The senior had 18 points, all on 3-pointers, in a 70-65 loss to Jeffersonville in a Class 4A regional.

Mark Zackery IV, Ben Davis boys basketball

The four-star football prospect had a double-double of 20 points and 10 assists in a 70-59 Class 4A regional win against New Palestine.
