Kiandrea Barker, 4-star 2025 RB, transfers from The Woodlands (Texas) to Miami Central

Barker is also a Penn State commitment

One of the top high school running backs is heading down to the 305.

According to The Portal 305, 4-star 2025 running back Kiandrea Barker is transferring from The Woodlands (Texas) to Miami Central. Barker is a Penn State commitment.

Barker becomes the latest in line to head over to the Rockets, with 3-star offensive lineman Woody Celucien leaving Naples Lely for Miami Central.

Last season at The Woodlands, Barker joined the Highlanders but only played in three games. The tailback held numerous offers from schools like Auburn, Houston, TCU and Wisconsin before committing to the Nittany Lions.

It’s another big get for the Rockets, who are looking to get themselves back to the top of the South Florida pedestal and winning state championships. Miami Central exited in the region final round in Class 2M in 2023 after winning it all in 2022.

The 4-star rated running back, who played at Beebe (Arkansas) his freshman/sophomore seasons, by 247Sports currently holds offers as well from Power Five schools like Florida State, Miami (FL), Missouri, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, SMU and UCF.

Barker will get to team up with quarterback Bekkem Kritza, who is also a Penn State commitment.
