The Condors took the week off after winning their first Public League title in five years.

2. Homewood-Flossmoor (26-4)

Previous rank: 1

The Vikings finished tied for first in the SouthWest Suburban Blue after losing 65-63 to co-champ Bolingbrook. Gianni Cobb scored 18 for H-F.

3. Thornton (25-4)

Previous rank: 3

Illinois recruit Morez Johnson yet another double-double for the Southland champs in a 58-38 win over Crete-Monee, finishing with 10 points, 15 rebounds, seven blocks and three assists. Isaiah Green had 20 points, including five 3-pointers.

4. Metamora (27-4)

Previous rank: 4

The defending Class 3A champion Redbirds pushed their winning streak to 14 games by beating Dunlap 69-50 and Limestone 81-43.

5. DePaul Prep (28-2)

Previous rank: 5

The Rams finished 8-0 in the Catholic League Blue, arguably the state's toughest conference. They've won 10 straight, including 41-38 over Mount Carmel and 49-35 vs. Benet last week. PJ Chambers scored 20 vs. Mount Carmel and 19 against Benet.

6. Brother Rice (28-3)

The Crusaders' only loss in the Catholic League Blue was in overtime to DePaul Prep. They've won 10 straight since, including 69-60 vs. St. Ignatius and 59-42 against Niles Notre Dame. Zavier Fitch had 27 points total in the two victories.

7. Bolingbrook (24-4)

The Raiders edged Homewood-Flossmoor 65-63 to share the SouthWest Suburban Blue title and then knocked off Lincoln-Way West 79-70 for their sixth straight win. JT Pettigrew's double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds with four blocks led the way against H-F.

8. Kenwood (22-7)

The Broncos were off last week after finishing runner-up to Curie in the Public League playoffs.

9. Mount Carmel (26-5)

Previous rank: 7

Senior Angelo Ciaravino won the Lawless Award as the Catholic League Blue MVP. The Caravan took third in the conference after falling 41-38 to DePaul Prep.

10. Benet (25-6)

Previous rank: 10

In a busy final week of the regular season, the East Suburban Catholic co-champion Redwings beat Nazareth 59-24 and Bulls Prep 84-50 before falling 49-35 to DePaul Prep.

11. Quincy (28-3)

Previous rank: 11

The Blue Devils won the Western Big 6 at 12-2, thanks to a pair of wins against Rock Island, 58-49 and 58-46.

12. Warren (27-4)

Previous rank: 12

Immanuel Brown scored 19 points as the Blue Devils beat Lake Zurich 64-39 for their seventh straight win and a share of the North Suburban title with Lake Forest.

13. Downers Grove North (27-4)

Previous rank: 13

The West Suburban Silver champs have won 10 straight after beating Taft 63-56 and La Lumiere Blue (Ind.) 72-64.

14. Marist (27-4)

Previous rank: 14

The RedHawks have won 11 in a row and are East Suburban Catholic co-champs with Benet after beating Joliet Catholic 72-55 and Perspectives-MSA 89-58. Adoni Vassilakis scored 18 against Joliet Catholic and Darshan Thomas had 23 points vs. Perspectives.

15. Waubonsie Valley (25-2)

The DuPage Valley champ Warriors beat Naperville North 43-38 to wrap up a 9-1 conference schedule.

16. Normal (26-5)

The Ironmen beat crosstown rival Normal West 52-34 to complete a 10-0 Big Twelve season.

17. Rich (22-7)

Previous rank: 23

The Raptors have won seven in a row after beating Kankakee 56-44.

18. Glenbrook South (24-6)

Previous rank: 19

The Titans coasted past Vernon Hills 73-21 for their fourth straight win.

19. New Trier (24-7)

Previous rank: 20

The Trevians beat Highland Park 62-39.

20. Loyola Academy (25-6)

Previous rank: 21

Nick Patton scored 15 points as the Ramblers cruised past Lake View 72-39.

21. Kankakee (25-4)

Previous rank: 17

The Kays went 2-1 in Southland games, beating Thornwood 54-45, falling 56-44 to Rich and edging Crete-Monee 56-54. Larenz Walters had a double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds) vs. Crete and scored 15 with six rebounds against Thornwood. 

22. Collinsville (27-4)

The Kahoks won the Southwestern title at 9-3 after falling 30-29 to Edwardsville and edging Alton 48-47.

23. Bloom (16-9)

Previous rank: 24

Payton Edwards scored 22 points as the Blazing Trojans cruised past Thornridge 82-35.

24. De La Salle (20-11)

Previous rank: NR

Richard Lindsey scored 24 points and Tavariyuan Williams had 20 in a 73-55 win against Marian Catholic. Williams and Bryant Hedrick both finished with 20 points in a 73-29 victory against St. Rita.

25. Centralia (28-2)

Previous rank: 25

The Orphans have won seven straight after beating Althoff Catholic 70-47.
