Kendra Brown, Kaneland girls basketball
The junior scored a career-high 30 points in a 63-39 win against Rosary, passing 1,000 points for her career.
Carson Brownfield, Homewood-Flossmoor boys basketball
The senior had a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds with five assists in a 71-52 win over Hillcrest.
Troyer Carlson, Kaneland boys basketball
The senior became the program's all-time scoring leader with 1,450 points, finishing with 29 in an 87-47 win against Rochelle.
Zavier Fitch, Brother Rice boys basketball
The senior had a pair of double-doubles. He finished with 23 points and 17 rebounds in an 86-42 win against Verona (Wis.) and had 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 69-59 win vs. Mount Carmel.
Santana Flowers, Bloom boys basketball
The senior had 13 points and 16 rebounds in a 55-42 win against Crete-Monee.
Marcos Gonzales, Brother Rice boys basketball
The junior scored 22 points in an 82-52 win against St. Laurence and had 20 points in a 69-59 victory over Mount Carmel.
Aaliyah Grandberry, Curie girls wrestling
The senior had three first-period falls en route to the 235-pound title at the Evanston Sectional. She improved to 20-0 and qualified for state for the third time; she's a two-time returning runner-up.
Janiyah Green, Marshall girls basketball
The sophomore scored 30 points on 13-for-18 shooting as the Commandos beat Austin 74-26 to win the Public League Green title.
Carlos Harris III, Curie boys basketball
The UIC recruit had 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists as the Condors beat Kenwood 65-59 to win their first Public League Red title since 2019. He also scored 13 points in a 75-51 victory against Simeon.
Bryce Heard, Homewood-Flossmoor boys basketball
The state's top-ranked junior in the 247Sports rankings had a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds in a 71-52 win against Hillcrest.
Ariella Henigan, Kenwood girls basketball
The junior had 24 points, seven rebounds and four steals in a 68-60 loss to Young in the Public League Red title game.
Destiny Jackson, Young girls basketball
The junior had a double-double of 27 points, five rebounds and five assists as the Dolphins beat Kenwood 68-60 to win the Public League Red title.
Morez Johnson, Thornton boys basketball
The Illinois recruit had a pair of double-doubles – 23 points and 17 rebounds in a 61-59 loss to Warren Lincoln (Mich.) and 18 points and 13 rebounds with four blocks and four steals in a 71-45 win against Thornwood.
Kiarra Kilgore, Galesburg girls basketball
The senior became the leading scorer in program history with 1,922 points.
Elijah Lovemore, Bloom boys basketball
The junior had 10 points, 10 assists, seven rebounds and five steals in a 55-42 win against Crete-Monee.
Alyvia Matiasek, Lockport girls bowling
The freshman averaged 228.2 over six games for a six-game pinfall of 1,369 en route to winning the Stagg Sectional.
Blake Schwartz, Payson Seymour boys basketball
The junior scored 34 points in a 59-43 win against Beardstown, passing 1,000 points for his career.
Kailey Starks, Evanston girls basketball
The senior became the fourth player in program history to reach 1,000 points, scoring 25 in a 71-23 victory against Deerfield.
Ashlin Teves, Harlem girls bowling
The sophomore rolled a state-best 1,476 series (246 average) over six games to win the individual title at the Sycamore Sectional.
Larenz Walters, Kankakee boys basketball
The senior had a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds in a 72-57 win against Crete-Monee.
