Here are the candidates for SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff.

Olivia Austin, Nazareth girls basketball

The Dartmouth recruit had 13 points, 12 rebounds and two steals in a 52-45 win over Wisconsin power Arrowhead.

Brooke Carlson, Batavia girls basketball

The Colorado State recruit scored a game-high 28 points in a 54-53 overtime win against local rival Geneva. Earlier in the week, she passed 2,000 points for her career.

Gianni Cobb, Homewood-Flossmoor boys basketball

A Columbia recruit, Cobb knocked down a 3-pointer from the right wing at the buzzer to give the Vikings a 65-63 win over Thornton on Sunday night.

Jaxson Davis, Warren boys basketball

The freshman had 15 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, three steals and a block in a 57-56 win against Palatine.

Cam Ellis, Blue Island Eisenhower boys basketball

The senior had 24 points and 13 rebounds in a 78-69 victory against Evergreen Park.

Meeghan Fahy, Maine South girls basketball

The senior scored 30 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 64-55 win against Evanston as the Hawks moved to 24-1.

Aaliyah Grandberry, Curie girls wrestling

The senior and two-time defending IHSA state runner-up won the 235-pound title at the Curie Regional and improved to 17-0.

Davian Hall, Simeon boys wrestling

The unseeded freshman beat the top three seeds en route to winning the 138-pound title at the Public League Tournament. He's 12-0 in his debut prep season.

Charlie Hunt, Hononegah boys bowling

The senior won the IHSA state title, averaging 230.6 for six games for a pinfall of 2,767.

Cooper Knoll, Ottawa boys basketball

The senior had a double-double of 23 points and 12 rebounds along with three blocks in an 80-70 loss to Rochelle.

Richard Lindsey, De La Salle boys basketball

The senior scored 12 straight points for his team in the third quarter, finishing with 23 points and nine rebounds in a 62-58 victory against St. Ignatius.

Justus McNair, Joliet West boys basketball

The Valparaiso recruit had 13 points in a 53-47 win over Joliet Central, passing the 1,000-point mark for his career.

Sam Phillip, Oswego girls gymnastics

The junior won the Upstate Eight Conference Meet all-around title for the third straight year, scoring 35.9 points.

Lane Provance, Seneca boys basketball

The senior had a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds as the Fighting Irish beat Ottawa Marquette 68-54 to win the Tri-County Conference Tournament.

Parker Reinke, St. Charles North boys basketball

The senior hit 5-for-10 from 3-point range, scored 33 points and grabbed five rebounds in a 72-60 win against Wheaton Academy.

Gavin Sands, Rock Falls boys basketball

The senior reached 1,000 points for his career when he scored 11 in a 67-36 win against Winnebago.

Luke Smith, Addison Trail boys basketball

The junior passed the 1,500-point mark for his career, scoring 23 in a 61-50 win against Elk Grove.

Shaheed Solebo, Lane boys basketball

The senior scored 34 points as the Champions beat Young 67-51, their first win in the series in recent memory.

Angela Stangarone, York girls gymnastics

The senior scored 37.275 points to win the all-around title at the West Suburban Conference Silver Meet and lead the Dukes to their first league title in 36 years.

Je'Shawn Stevenson, Lindblom boys basketball

The Cleveland State recruit had 17 points, six rebounds, five assists and three blocks as the Eagles handed Curie its first in-state loss of the season, 73-66. He also had 15 points, seven rebounds, four assists, four blocks and two steals in a 51-41 victory against Dyett.

Bree Stewart, Morgan Park girls bowling

The junior won the Public League individual title, averaging 203.5 for a six-game pinfall of 1,221, and leading the Mustangs to the team championship.
