Montini's Nikki Kerstein voted SBLive’s Illinois High School Athlete of the Week (1/22/2024)
Congratulations to Montini girls basketball player Nikki Kerstein, who was voted SBLive's Illinois High School Athlete of the Week for January 8-14.
A junior, Kerstein had 28 points on 13-for-18 shooting to go along with four steals and three assists in a 64-49 win over Lake Zurich.
Butler girls basketball player Xamaya Walton finished second in the voting.
