The fifth week of the Georgia high school football season is in the books.

Now it’s time to voice your opinion on which player should be named SBLive’s Middle Georgia Offensive Player of the Week.


Middle-GA-Off

Mt. Zion receiver Anterion Theodore was voted last week's SBLive Middle Georgia Offensive Player of the Week. The junior tallied 134 yards and one touchdown on five catches.

Read up on this week's six candidates below and let us know your pick. Voting will conclude on Saturday, September 23rd at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week’s poll.

Ja’Quan Bentley, Upson-Lee: Bentley had a big night running the ball in the Knights’ 21-3 win over Haralson County. The senior carried the ball 15 times for 168 yards and three touchdowns.

Jim Franklin, Aquinas: Franklin impressed in a loss to Harlem. The junior went 27-for-34 with 309 yards and four touchdowns through the air, and he also ran for two touchdowns.

J.R. Harris, Central Carrollton: Harris continued his breakout freshman campaign in a 21-17 win over Northgate. The young quarterback passed for 157 yards and one touchdown, and he ran seven times for 113 yards.

Deshun Horsley, East Coweta: Horsley couldn’t be contained Friday night. The senior caught five passes for 216 yards and four touchdowns, as East Coweta beat Lowndes to improve to 5-0 this season

DJ Hudson, Peach County: Hudson came to play in a 42-21 loss to Perry. The junior passed for 245 yards and three touchdowns, and he ran for 91 yards.

Levi Watson, Harris County: Watson diced up the defense in a 40-13 win over Hardaway. The senior finished 13-for-14 with 225 yards and three touchdowns through the air.
