The fourth week of the Georgia high school football season is in the books.

Now it’s time to voice your opinion on which player should be named SBLive’s Middle Georgia Offensive Player of the Week.


Middle-GA-Off

Greenbrier senior Nate Ames was voted last week's SBLive Middle Georgia Offensive Player of the Week. Ames caught six passes for 94 yards and one touchdown, and he carried the ball eight times for 29 yards and one touchdown.

Jessie Bell, Westside Macon: Bell put up big numbers through the air and on the ground in a 49-32 victory against Rutland. The senior passed for 109 yards and two touchdowns, and ran 18 times for 130 yards and three touchdowns.

Jaylen Cherry, McDonough: Cherry caught six passes for more than 100 yards and two touchdowns, as the Warhawks improved to 3-0 for the first time in program history.

Brayden Gay, Westfield: Gay drove the Hornets down the field on a game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter. The junior finished with 350 passing yards and four touchdowns in a 37-35 win over Tiftarea Academy.

Jaylon Johnson, Howard: Johnson had a strong performance in Howard’s 27-19 loss to Harris County. The senior tallied seven receptions for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

Ran Ogletree, Harris County: Ogletree helped Harris County defeat Howard with a big night in the receiving department. The junior caught eight passes for 196 touchdowns in the Tigers’ 27-19 win.

Anterion Theodore, Mt. Zion: Theodore made the most of his touches in a loss to McDonough. The junior totaled 134 yards and one touchdown on five catches.
