Tampa Bay Buccaneers to host FHSAA's 2024 girls flag football state championships

The NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made it official on adding another big high school event under its belt this spring. 

Per the team via an announcement through all of its social media handles, the Buccaneers will host the 2024 FHSAA girls flag football state championships.  

The 2-day event (May 10-11) will be held at the Buccaneers' training facility, the AdventHealth Training Center, right next to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. 

The Buccaneers have been a major player on the high school football scene all around the last few years, including hosting Hillsborough County Media Days and the girls flag football preseason kickoff classic, which kicks off today at the Ed Radice Sports Complex. 

Officially, the Buccaneers will be hosting this year's preseason event at the Ed Radice Sports Complex between the dates of February 14-17. 

An official kickoff event took place last night at Raymond James Stadium, with Buccaneers’ players like running back Rachaad White and tight end Cade Otton on hand. 

According to Buccaneers' officials, over 100 teams are slated to take part in the event that starts up this week.
