Jalen Wiggins, 2025 4-star defensive lineman, commits to Florida over FSU, Georgia & LSU

Wiggins is one of the top junior defensive linemen in all of Northern Florida

When you’re right in the backyard of the Florida State University like Rickards’ defensive lineman Jalen Wiggins is, you begin to think that’s one Seminoles’ head coach Mike Norvell may not miss on.

Not for a lack of trying, but Wiggins will be heading out of Tallahassee once his playing days are over and to a rival nonetheless.

On Monday afternoon, Wiggins via On3’s Hayes Fawcett, announced he will be committing to the University of Florida. Wiggins, a 2025 4-star defensive lineman according to 247Sports, chose the Gators over Florida State, Georgia and LSU, respectively.

Last season for the Raiders, the junior defensive tackle tallied 32 total tackles, two went for a loss and three sacks.

Wiggins, who has ideal size at 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, will head into the 2024 high school season as one of the state’s best interior defensive lineman.
