Who are the top quarterbacks in Florida high school girls flag football this season?

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be taking a look at some of the top high school girls flag football players in Florida.

We'll start with the top quarterbacks heading into the 2024 campaign.

TOP 10 HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL QUARTERBACKS 

Abby Elwell, Lennard: The Longhorns’ signal caller is coming off a solid 2023 season, completing 469-of-679 for 4,589 yards and 64 touchdowns. 

Haidyn Spano, Robinson: Spano was incredible in leading the Knights to a Class 1A state championship. The Robinson field general completed 433-of-674 for 5,274 yards and 98 touchdowns. Also had 76 carries, 264 yards, six touchdowns. 

Diaris Morales, Choctawhatchee: A big reason why the Indians went as far as they did last season was because of the play of Morales. The quarterback connected on 337-of-585 for 4,391 yards, 65 touchdowns. Added 101 carries, 666 yards, 10 touchdowns on the ground.  

Keelin Coleman, Wellington: The Wolverines are in good hands with Coleman back under center. Coleman last season completed 261-of-401, 3,013 yards, 38 touchdowns. On the ground, she had 29 carries, 171 yards and four touchdowns. 

Arnayshia Griffin, Bradford: Lookout for this offensive dynamo out of Starke. Griffin in 2023 completed 244-of-355 passes for 3,511 yards and 44 touchdowns. The athlete also had 129 carries for 1,058 yards and 16 touchdowns. 

Amaya Pablo, Pace: Pablo came onto the scene in 2023 and was a standout immediately. The Patriots’ quarterback hit on 402-of-527 passes for 4,311 yards, 53 touchdowns. On the ground, she carried the ball 77 times for 572 yards and 10 touchdowns. 

Emma Clough, Newsome: In leading one of Hillsborough County’s better offenses, Clough returns as a veteran quarterback in the state. Last season, Clough completed 304-of-491 passes for 3,304 yards and 49 touchdowns. 

Myla Aligood, Palm Beach Gardens: Aligood did a whole lot of good for the Gators at quarterback last season. The Palm Beach Gardens’ signal caller connected on 273-of-409 passes for 2,695 yards, 39 touchdowns. Ran the ball 70 times for 450 yards and five touchdowns. 

Cydnee Brooks, Braden River: Undoubtedly the best flag passer on the South Suncoast, Brooks should have another impactful season ahead. In 2023, Brooks completed 357-of-545 passes for 2,759 yards, 43 touchdowns. On the ground, Brooks had 69 carries for 567 yards and five touchdowns. 

Emma Corr, New Smyrna Beach: Corr did a lot more of her damage on the ground than through the air. The Barracudas’ quarterback completed 173-of-274 passes for 1,616 yards, seven touchdowns and on the ground carried the ball 229 times for 1,787 yards and 10 touchdowns.
