We’ve selected 12 candidates to choose from this past week’s games

High school football is back in the Sunshine State and so begins our Player of the Week polls for areas all around the state. Teams started off the regular season with some great individual performances in Week 11.

As such, we have 12 athletes nominated this week for the SBLive’s North Suncoast Florida high school football offensive player of the week award from November 2-3, and we ask you, the fans, to help decide who should indeed be the top athlete selected. Voting will conclude on Saturday, November 11th at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced in next week's poll. 


North Suncoast Offensive Player of the Week

Here are this week's nominations: 

Christian Cromer, RB, Nature Coast: The Navy commitment carried the ball 28 times, 176 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 72-59 win over Gulf. 

Connor Riggins, RB, Nature Coast: Riggins was the other tailback in the 1-2 punch as the running back ran 22 times for 171 yards and scored four touchdowns

Antonio Muniz, RB, Gulf: The Buccaneers' tailback had another big game as Munis carried the ball 23 times, 160 yards and five touchdowns

Parker Stinkorb, QB, Zephyrhills Christian Academy: The senior quarterback completed 11-of-13 for 183 yards in the Warriors' 43-0 win over American Collegiate Academy. 

Kyle Horvath, QB, Land O' Lakes: Horvath led the Gators' in a 51-24 win over Pasco by completing 14-of-23, 177 yards and three touchdowns. 

Cody Gwinn, RB, Land O' Lakes: The tailback ended the night scoring three touchdowns and finishing with a game-high 181 yards on 35 attempts in the win over Pasco. 

John Capel III, RB, Hernando: Capel III rushed for 375 yards and scored four touchdowns in the Leopards' 34-12 victory over Weeki Wachee. 

Luke Knight, QB, Wiregrass Ranch: The Bulls' senior quarterback completed 24-of-33 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns in a 55-14 victory over The Villages. 

Matt Barton, RB, River Ridge: Barton had a solid performance in the Royal Knights' 31-17 loss to Cypress Creek, tallying 142 yards and a touchdown. 

Sebastian Valerio-Estevez, WR, Central: The wide receiver hauled in three passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-26 loss to Umatilla. 

Cayden Thomas, QB, Mitchell: Thomas completed 9-of-14 passes for 145 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-12 win over Wesley Chapel. 

Colton McNeely, RB, Lecanto: The running back rushed for 89 and scored a touchdown in a 27-21 loss to Springstead.
